General Comments:

I bought this car to downsize from my Suburban. I recently retired from the Army and found this "diamond in the rough" 3 hours from my home, and I only drove that far because of the rust issues our cars have here in upstate NY.

Now I'm a Chevy guy to the heart, but good glory, this Marquis may cause me to change my mind on that.

To begin, you literally can't hear the motor run and she rides as if you're on a plane. Bumps, RR tracks, etc. you really don't feel, you only hear your tires brush over them.

My only concern is the intake gasket issues these motors had in the earlier models and wondering if Ford rectified it. Power windows/locks I know were concerns as well, but hey, what car doesn't has its own "Achilles heel", right? I'm very meticulous on my maintenance anyway and I drive like a senior citizen, according to some, well all, LOL; I'm definitely going to do my part with care and I'm hoping my Merc will uphold its end.

I know it's probably WAY too early to give a review and I'm keeping an open mind on sudden maintenance issues that may arise, because I know it's not a new vehicle, but I just wanted to put it out there. Feel free to give your positives and negatives on my review; I'm totally satisfied right now.
