1985 Jaguar Vanden Plas XJ6 5.7L GM from North America
Summary:
Only Jag I'll probably ever own
Faults:
Rear window leaks in heavy rain.
Rear passenger window control intermittently works.
Driver window noise above 75mph.
General Comments:
This is an excellent example of a top quality conversion. It has a 2002 Firebird Trans Am engine and tranny with 35,000 miles on them with a 1998 computer brain. The engine just fits and looks awesome with the bonnet open. Goes like, well, very fast very quickly. The rest of the running gear is Jag and it handles superbly, especially in the twisties. Very comfortable cabin, a joy to drive. The conversion was done by Glenn Vaugh Restoration in Post Falls, Idaho and is painted a perfect British racing green.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

Based on the experience of most folks, it should be the only Jaguar you ever own. Have you had to replace the rear brakes yet? You know the ones built in to the rear axle. $1800 american dollars plus will be the starting price. More miles on the rack than on the road.
