2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL 3.5 V6 from North America
Summary:
One of the best trucks you'll ever own
Faults:
On my Ridgeline the windshield got cracked and is somewhat expensive to replace because of all of the options ($350). I haven't replaced it yet.
I had an O2 sensor go bad and spent $260 and the connections from the transmission to the radiator are known to cause problems, so I went with an external transmission cooler and it cost $280.
Some bolts came loose next to the flex pipe on the exhaust system, $80.
$620 for maintenance on a 14 year old truck with 295,700 miles is not too bad at all! I consider any maintenance above $1000 a year to be excessive and the price I've paid has been in 1.5 years of ownership.
General Comments:
Does great towing, has lots of room inside, and the fuel mileage is decent. The bed is short so a trailer is necessary for loads requiring longer than 5.5' beds.
The trunk is a life saver if you have tools that need to be locked up or you have to bring cold beer to the tailgate due to it being pluggable.
This is the truck that's needed by most but wanted by few.
